The Measurement Unit offers various types of measurement services and rail testing, including a unique inspection method with predictive analysis through artificial intelligence (AI). Continuous measurements and controls of the track system increase traffic safety and facilitate the planning of operation and maintenance. The Measurement Unit is an independent unit within Infranord, which enables it to act impartially in connection with procurements and delivery follow-up.
Measurements and tests are mainly conducted on the Swedish Transport Administration’s railway lines, but also for Banedanmark in Denmark, for example.
